I don&#039;t have hard data on the size of their installation, but Skype does run on PostgreSQL... and given that they built their own tools to deal with their database clusters (https://developer.skype.com/SkypeGarage/DbProjects/SkyTools) I think it&#039;s safe to assume that they have a fairly large setup.</description>
