Office Hours – Redux

I am offering my knowledge and advice for free!  I have decided to repeat an experiment I did back in 2013, and offer Office Hours.  The idea is that if you’re interested, we can meet for coffee (if you’re in the Boulder, CO area) or setup a Zoom video call or a regular old phone call, and you can ask me questions, or run ideas by me, etc.. and I will give you the best advice I can.

I have worked in the enterprise eCommerce world for 21 years.  I’ve worked at companies ranging from small start-ups (ATG in the late ’90s) to large corporations (AT&T).  I founded Sparkred back in 2007, grew it to employ over 35 people across the country and the world, and sold it in 2018.  We ran it profitably, without debt or funding.  I am very experienced with ATG Oracle Commerce development and architecture, AWS, Spring, and many more technologies and platforms.  I’ve built and sold a business.  I love to focus on using technology and improved process to help optimize small and medium businesses.  In short, I’ve been around and I know people in all types of positions in all types of companies.  So outside of my own personal knowledge and advice I may be able to help connect you with the right person or company.  I don’t claim to be an expert but I’ve done pretty well and I’d be happy to help you if I can.

If you’re interested, drop me an email: [email protected] with the subject line: “Office Hours” and let me know a little about what you want to talk about, and we’ll set something up!

Looking forward to connecting with you!

P.S. – I also know a lot about firearms, motorcycles, travel, music festivals, photography, and much more:)

What an admirable and incredibly generous offer, Devon! Let me just say that your willingness to share the years worth of knowledge, guidance and resources that you have worked hard to accumulate with other aspiring entrepreneurs as a means of helping them to put forth their own goals and dreams into motion, is a tremendously honorable act of kind-hearted benevolence. Good works that come from a no strings attached type of approach is the the epitome of what kind hearted altruism looks like. The gracious generosity of people like you are those who make incredible, awe-inspiring differences in the world. I appreciate and respect all that you do!!
